As London is only a short train journey away me and my fiance have many days in London, trying to track down all the weird and wonderful. In this blog im writing about the most recent visit brought around by my wonderful Brother who got me and my fiance tickets to see a show in London, Showstopper at the Lyric. We got the train to Charing Cross and decided to take a 15 minute walk along to Rupert Street where the amazing Vegan Hippo is located. The Vegan Hippo is easy to spot with its bright orange shop front and sign board with a Hippo on. The staff are really friendly and service is quick. What made us really happy is that they have a sign up saying that they don't except the new £5 notes, and this is because they contain tallow derived from animal fat. We decided to try out their vegan hot dog with tomato ketchup and mustard, with vegan cheese added for an extra 50p.
